I've been looking for sources on Thunder Warrior colour schemes.

My first port of call was the armour through the ages models.

Is this a Thunder Warrior scheme, or is it just an ultramarines scheme model in thunder armour?

I also flicked through a visions art book, where there appeared to be a Thunder Warrior, it was golden, but it was also a Blanche, so pretty much everything was gold and the character could also have been some other armoured warrior.

Are there any other potential colour schemes I should be looking at for my Thunder Warriors?

I've already bought a can of gold spray, because we all know the Emperor loves gold and I'm sure I can make a decent part of the model Gold regardless of the overall scheme!

That's just an Ultramarine in that armor. Thunder Warrior armor was probably just gold colored, like the Custodes.

When that miniature was sculpted, and when that model was painted, "Thunder Warrior" just meant a Space Marine in mark 1 armour, during the reunification of Earth and the Moon. All the "proto-Space Marine giant soldiers" stuff was added later.

I suspect they'd be in flat grey like the early Space Marines.

Are the Thunder Warriors at Gaduare described in "The Last Church"?

Going by the various blanch art, they seem to be gold.

or it could be that he just likes painting in sepia
