First time post in this section, sorry if this a constant question.

I recently received some Bolt Action Fallschirmjager as a gift and before I put meld together plastic I wanted to know what the unit inventory rules are. I don't own a copy of the rules but am interested into getting into the game. I am aiming for 1941 troop compositions and inventory, which calls for a ton of MG teams, and I am not arming every other paratrooper with FG-42s as they weren't fielded to them at the time. What do the rules restrict you on for building up the unit before I commit?

For early Fallschirmjäger it is
1 × NCO + 4 Jägers standard with K98's.
You can add up to 5 Jägers with K98's.
The NCO and 0-2 Jägers can have MP40's
1 Jäger may have an MG34 and 1 Jäger must become a loader (so don't give him any weapon upgrade)
The squad may have AT Grenades.

Thanks, that is exactly what I needed to know. Just to be sure, the loader still gets a K98 right? and for the AT grenades, at the PzFs generally acceptable to use on the mini?

As far as I recall a loader can use nothing once he becomes a loader.
It's effectively just an extra wound for the gunner.
So I'd not bother giving him anything.
I'm not sure if you pay his points for grenades though. I usually just stick to panzerfausts and you can't take both for some reason.

If you're intending to set your list in 1941, then it's a bit early for Panzerfausts.

Hence why they aren't in the entry

I stopped playing Bolt Action a little after 2nd ed so I can't be specific on the details. What I can do for you is give you a link to a pretty good army builder:

It worked really well when I made use of it, but like I said, I haven't really played Bolt Action in a while so I don't know how well it is maintained now.
