So I just picked up a box of 3 Bloodcrushers for my daemons army. I was expecting the 90x52mm bases to be included. However it came with 3 big rectangle and 5x 60mm bases. If I use the 60mm bases, would I have an issue if I went to an event?

If you bought them direct from GW, give their customer support a ring, they will most likely send you the correct bases no problem. If you bought them third party, I say just suck up the $2 or whatever to buy some replacement bases.

So, just go with the new bases then.

I thought they were always on 60mm bases? Are they on ovals in the new box set or something?

According to the website, they're on ovals.

This happened to me, kinda, with Seekers.

In the three SC! boxes I bought, they have 75x42mm oval bases. In the Seekers box I bought, they have ten bike bases, five square and five rounded at each end.

I switched my Seekers to all be on 75mm ovals, so that they'd all match, but I'm fairly sure that you're entitled, strictly speaking, to use whatever base that bundles with the minis.

They might just be an older box before they were repackaged with new bases. No one would give you guff if they were on 60's though.
You could probably get away with customer support sending you some new bases if that's what they're listed as on the website.

Ovals are a newer base type for GW. At one point the ONLY bases available for 40K models were 25, 40 & 60mm rounds.
Many units that are now supplied with Ovals, used to come on rounds, so it can happen that you buy a set with the older bases.
Just go buy the ovals if you want them

Heck, I put all my Eldar jetbikes on the smaller Ovals back in 7E and no one has had any issues with them at all. And they aren't even on Ovals "officially"
