I'm looking to start expanding my collection past the Dark Imperium set. All point values based on Chapter Approved previews. I'd very much like feedback & advice.

Looks like a decent start.

I would definitely put more anti-tank in the list. Bolters of any stripe are not going to take down high-strength, high-wound targets. Plasma or Lascanons (Melta if you want to get up close and personal).


Why Blood Angels? They are primarily focused on melee, with the Death Company, and all their Strats and Relics are focused on getting in close. Maybe Ultramarines or Salamanders would be a better choice for a shooting army?

I play blangels for purely fluff reasons. Do you think I should add a thunder hammer to the vanguard squad to address tanks?
