Ok quick question. How are you able to take the Ironguts in the Empire Army? Is it part of the Storm of Magic rules? I'm not too familiar with that book.

That's cool. I love any house rules that add more theme to the game.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

Love your campaign, great fun.

That Empire army is pretty nasty, but most of the army didn't need to do much as the other half was even nastier.

Chaos need some volume to their army, warhounds are cheap to add. The warshrine works best when supporting chosen and character heavy lists. The spell was priority dispel and was unlikely to stick.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

You will always have a problem with 8th of massive spells vs massive units. The best defence is self policing. If you dont put all your power into one or two units the enemy cannot cripple your army by targeting them with something nasty.

Have you seen the Sigmar's Blood campaign? It uses several medium to small units. Largest Empire unit was 20 swordsmen the Sigmar's Sons.

You have one battle to go.

When it is done list both your Empire and Chaos collections here. We on Dakka can make two balanced armies from them, with intent for a varied good game. Then play those two armies in open battle. You up for that?

Thanks for the advice! It is interesting to try! When we finish this campaign, we will turn to you for help in drawing up a roster. OK?

Not necessary me. But have one person not playing draw up both rosters, get in stuff you might not see, strange combos and weapons. Units not often taken dependant on what you have.

But if you would like me to do it, get me your list of what you have both got that you are prepared to field and I will put out a pair of lists and a scenario for you. However a collective effort will lead to a more interesting game, so when the lists are posted give it time for them to be tweaked, so long as posters understand tweaking is to make the game more fun or more even, not to correct 'mistakes'. expect unit combos you might not usually field, and try to make the best of them.
