Feedback wanted on this Dwarf list. I'm porting over my Warmachine Rhulic Dwarfs miniatures, which fortunately means lots of Earth Elementals!

Man, I love me some Kings of Warmachine armies. Such a great use for all these PP models we've got kicking around.

The list itself looks like a very solid Dwarf list, basically the best stuff in the faction along with a few new COK additions (flame belcher is COK19 hero, right?) I don't really have anything to add to it - while I'd like the brocks to have some item, you don't really have the points spare, so shrug.

Army should look great, happy multi-basing

Thanks Boss, sounds like I'm on the right lines. The Brock Riders do have a magic item: Brew of Strength! I've corrected the list.

Flame Belcher is the old warmachine (not Warmachine!). You're thinking of the new Flame Priest.

I'm considering dropping the Brocks' Brew of Strength for the Hammer of Measured Force. This would let me swap the Earth Elemental for a King on Large Beast, i.e. Lug the polar bear. Three EE regiments seems enough for a solo Stone Priest to handle.

Love the idea of using the Warmachine models

For the ist, I would use one horde (with 9 light Jacks you can make 2 hordes)

Harry, bring this ring to Narnia or the Sith will take the Enterprise

I have flip-flopped between two hordes and three regiments. Three regiments have more nerve in total, but split amongst more units. I want to use the EEs as anvils rather than hammers, but can't decide what's best!

As nerve tests are 2d6+wounds; the difference is less than you'd think. A regiment will rout (on average) after 7 wounds while a horde will rout (on average) after 10 wounds. At defense 6; a regiment will last through almost any regiment's attack; but will crumble to most hordes with some form of Crusing Strength or Thunderous Charge.
The main advantage of the horde over the regiment is the increased offense as they double attacks. You'll find that the regimental attacks will not do any (serious) damage at 9 attacks melee 4+. Hordes will do double, and double that when surged into a flank. That;s right: 36 Cs (1) attacks, nothing to scoff at.

I'll leave it to you to find out which is better. As I multibased all of my elementals (I own a 500-point "dwarven" allied contignent for my KoM armies) into two regiments, I can combine these into two hordes.

OK, the consensus is on the Hordes!

I've also rejigged the list a bit, gaining an extra Flame Belcher and a Battle Driller. Changes in bold.

I actually have 5 points spare... any suggestions? Healing Brew on one of the Earth Elemental Hordes?

Glad you went with the hordes, I totally missed that. If you need another bonus over regiments, hordes can pull off corkscrew charges while regiments can't - not going to happen much but it's a weird rules advantage based on unit dimensions.

On the brocks, I'm not sure about the hammer, as it means their TC does nothing against D4 or less, but maybe? A counter thought is using the 5 points to give them elite (blessing) instead? But in that case it's just because I like the idea of rerolling 1's to hit and damage.

So sure, maybe hammer is the answer to their pillow fists Healing on elementals seems like a fine use of 5 points.

Nice war engine complement now, I'm a fan of the driller, and yep, keep forgetting Dwarfs have a warmachine that isn't an organ gun

+1 for porting over warmachine armies. I have helped a friend do the same with his circle army, and it fits perfectly. Would be awesome if Mantic made a steam-punk human army with robots.

The last list looks pretty good, but measured force on the brocks is not a great pick IMO. Would use the 25pts left over on some other magic items instead.
