Yeah I thought it might be cool to have a general discussion thread to talk about the spears, their tactic, the stuff that came with it and what not

So, what do you guys think of the revamped lore for them?

I haven't had a chance to read the book yet. I also never heard of them... so I don't know what is revamped. My book is number 0980.
Is anyone planning to make an army of Emperor's Spears? I thought there might be more information than just the Chapter Tactic. Not sure what rule to use for spears. I guess just count them as Power Swords?
I have a pile of Space wolf sprues I haven't used yet, it says they have furs and reptile hides. So, some space wolf furry bits should look good. I think Puppetswar has the best looking helmet crests (on the web page, I haven't ordered them yet).
Also seems like the Stormcast Eternals might have the best spears to use (better than the Eldar spear used in the video). They even have a cool looking Trident that kind of matches the Chapter symbol.
So... just curious to hear anyone elses plans to make this army.
