So for background info so everyone is on the same page:

Indomitable is the new warlord trait one can pick up with the IF Siegebreaker Cohort.

The trait makes IF Infantry within 6'' of the warlord auto-pass morale tests and receive cover. The requirement is that the "Warlord did not move in the Movement phase of this turn".

Would this mean that the trait is always active on the opponent's turn?
The core rulebook says that the game "played series of battle rounds. During each battle round, both players have a turn". Therefore, on an opponent's turn the warlord did not move thus warlord trait is active.

I am reading this right? Could this have been a typo and actually meant this Round instead of Turn?

Thanks you.

Yes, though I doubt that's intended.

Yes, that is what it means. Yes, that means your warlord can move in your turn and you'll benefit in your opponents turn against their shooting. It's "intended" because moving your warlord means you lose cover against Overwatch, but keep it in the opponents shooting phase. And if it's not "intended", they will errata it in time.

I would also state that this is correct.

even workshop know their turn terminology. By turn that's your turn then opponents. So by turn when it's your opponent's turn that is a new turn.

Game turn's no longer exist they are now battle round. So if it was to last whole round it would state, if not moved this round.

They presumably meant to use the wording that Aggressors have. But they didn't.

Turns do exist, but they are just one players actions, while a battle round is both. Each Battle Round has two Turns, one for each player.

I suggest you read the core rules. Especially pg.2 The Battle Round. It says each player has a turn.

He didn't say turns no longer exist, he said GAME turn, what battle rounds used to be called before GW wised up and renamed them to avoid confusion.

If that is the case, this trait's value is quite higher than I thought it would be. Mobile cover via a jetpack captain. Going to stop there since this is not a thread about tactics.

I know turns exist but not game turns like they used to. Because Game turns are now battle rounds

Yah, although it really does smell like a mistake that could be errata'd, so if this is influencing purchases I would proceed with caution!

Chances are equally likely GW has figured out how to pull a Riot by making things super good and then nerfing them once everyone is invested. A cynical view to take but not one that is totally impossible.
