I’ve been reading the Drop Force Imperator fluff book that comes with the Killteam box.
Has the Hammer Angelis ship ever been mentioned elsewhere?
It is stated to be a heavy cruiser. Do we have any schematics on how much infantry, flyers, APCs or other transports can be fit into one of the ships?
Within the book, it states that the Hammer Angelis is transporting three FULL regiments of Zetic Tygers. Divide the max troop capacity by three (assuming the craft is completely full) and we should more or less have a hard number on how big a Militarum Tempestus regiment is.
Please, can anybody aid me?

If the truth can destroy it, then it deserves to be destroyed.

Cruisers are anything from 3 to 6km long (there are lots of threads on this if you can bear searching through the arguments ). You can fit a lot ofpeople and kitinto a ship of that size.

Also we can't get a hard number on it because elsewhere in the fluff it states that individual regiments can go from a couple of thousand to hundreds of thousands of squaddies.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Yeah, lots of times Regiments are described as keeping fit by running through the miles of corridors, using entire holds as combat simulation areas/shooting ranges, or sometimes even having inter-regimental conflicts in the areas separating them.

A good sized Necromunda campaign with the gangs having their own territories could fit into even a normally-sized Imperial ship's innards, especially a heavy cruiser or battleship.

This is compounded by there not really being a whole lot of standardization of ships at the level of troop-transport between systems, so capacities could vary immensely.

I appreciate this hit to the gut, knowing that I may never truly find my answer. But, I am tired of people thinking that the normal rules of thousands to hundreds of thousands of troopers from the Regimentos also applies to the Militarum Tempestus, an offbranch set of commandos with much more expensive gear, better training, and less recruitment.

Whilst I'd doubt hundreds of thousands, It'd be a surprise if even ordo tempestor regiments weren't at least a few thousand simply because they use same subordinate divisions (squad-platoon-company) as the regular Militarum. they won't be hundreds of thousands, though, but sadly no transport ship has ever listed it's capacity in anything other than regiments except astrtes ships.
