Subject: Models Left Out of the Codex

So if a model is not included in a codex, it cannot be used at all? I've seen people selling Apostate Preachers of Nurgle but I can't find the stats in the codex for 8th edition. This is the first time I've dealt with this issue so I am unsure how it goes.

There are no rules for Apostate Preachers of Nurgle anymore, not even in the Forgeworld books. All you can do is use them as "counts-as" something else.

They're a Forge World thing and they're in Index: Forces of the Astra MIlitarum, IIRC.
They're just Malefic Lords these days, I'm afraid.

They are not. They used to be a Renegades and Heretics unit, but are not as of 8th edition.

Actually we had a preacher entry and the malefic Lord would've been the special demagogue devotion.
