Hi everybodies !
Here is a new list I come up with for my Death Guard.
I love Dady Nurgle since ever and the new plague marines models looks amazing thus I wanted to play them. A lot of them ! And still be competitive if possible.
Most of the DG lists doesnt use them so... let's be original !

Spoiler:
++ HQ ++

• Typhus
4. Blades of Putrefaction, 5. Putrescent Vitality
• Malignant Plaguecaster - Warlord : Arch-Contaminator
1. Miasma of Pestilence, 2. Gift of Contagion

++ TROOPS ++

• 20x Plague Marines
- Champion w/ Plasma Gun
- 2x Blight Launchers
- 2x Flails of Corruption
- 4x Bubonic Axes
- 11x Bolters

• 20x Poxwalkers
• 20x Poxwalkers

++ ELITES ++

• Biologus Putrifier
• Foul Blightspawn
• Foul Blightspawn
• Tallyman

++ FAST ATTACKS ++

• Foetid Bloat-drone
- 2x Plaguespitters
• Foetid Bloat-drone
- 2x Plaguespitters

In few words, the idea behind the list is a huge blob of Plague Marines covered with Cloud of Flies stratagem on every turns and Poxwalkers meatshield, so they are unattackable while running forward to the ennemy and use Blight Bombardment, Veteran of the Long War stratagems to their max potentials.
Characters are there to boost even more Plague Marines or Poxwalkers power and resilience and give some anti-vehicles/monsters weaponry.
Blight-drones are there as distraction carniflex to cover flank or rush in to lock some units in melee.

for 2000 points, I plan to buy Mortarion for more speed and punch w/o increasing the numbers of vulnerable targets and replacing the Bloat-drones with a CSM patrol (who said Warp Time?)...
Maybe say hi to Fabius Bile during his vacation on the Plague Planet? :p
(I have allways wanted to try out E6 Poxwalkers/Plague Marines)

Any thoughts guys?

I like the idea, and I think it could work well against standard gunline armies on a long table edges deployment. However, suppose your opponent chooses Hammer and Anvil, and you're stuck with short table edges and a long walk. Treat yourself to a Blightbringer-ringer and roll 2D6 for advances. Plus you can still fire your blightlaunchers at no penalty!
This will be very important for Typhus because he's really slow and will slow up your advance by trying to keep the poxwalkers in his bubble - and remember he halves his advance so he'll still be pretty damn slow.

FBDs as distraction carnifexes are good. If you go for bigger games I'd actually recommend blightlord terminators - it fits the heavy infantry theme you have going on, and they can deep strike down and lay down some anti-infantry fire - thus less incoming fire focuses on your poxwalkers and you'll have more intact when you reach enemy lines.
That might work out better than Morty - as I hear he tends to get focus fired down in turn 1 (never played him so can't personally attest), and that way you have very good threat saturation across the board - forcing your opponent to shoot some things and ignore others, and make bad decisions.

Do you know what your sin is, Malcolm Reynolds?
Ah hell, I'm a fan of all seven.
But right now, I'm gonna have to go with wrath.

Thanks for the reply !

I fully agree with you, a Noxious Blightbringer would definitly be usefull there for a bit more speed. I replaced one of the Foul Blightspawn for him.
I did use the points left (now 1498pts) to give a gauntlet to the champion and one Icon of Despair to the unit to give a try to -2cd aura.

For 2k games I like Blightlords, running a big bunch of 10 of them to take the lead jn case of the Plague Marines failing at their job.

But I have others options to think about too...

Morty is still a good choice, even more with some CSM patrol for some Dark Hereticus dicipline.
Otoh I agree it may be tricky to play him, if he get nuked down, except if I found a good balance of nurgle daemons or Deathshrouds to heal/protect him...

I have played a few games at my local store to test the list and the list is running smoth, except a few game I mostly had the hand over the games so far.
I mostly played versus marines (Deathwatch, CSM, Blood Angel), semi-gunlines had hard time removing 40 poxwalkers before I come in close range (even with Repulsor) and melee get tarpit in Poxwalkers screening my Plague Marines then nuked down with Blight Bombardments combos.
Sadly I didnt had the opportunity to play against Xenos or IK... I would have liked to see how it could run against some heavy gunline or tyranids zerg rushs.
