I have a quick question. This may seem stupid but I'm new to forum websites. Can I upload images to my gallery on DakkaDakka directly from my desktop? And can I use those images in my own forum posts? Basically, I don't want to make an account on imgur and pay to upload just a handful of photos. If I can use those images, how do I do that? I see the links ascociated with the gallery images but I don't know which one to use or how to imbed them in a forum post.

While I will let the mods guide you through the dakka image system proper, I'd just like to chime in and point out that imgur is free.

Thank you so much guys! I know imgur is free but my little siblings and I use the same computer. I've seen some pretty innapropriate things on imgur before and I'd hate for my siblings to accidentally fall into something.
