since the certificate expired and was reset I now find despite checking the 'remember me' box I have to sign in when I first visit the site in a browser window, and every five or six pages I find I'm signed out again.

don't think anything has changed this end since before I noticed this.

First, try logging out and then logging back in. This often fixes this type of issue.

If that doesn't help, try clearing any cookies/caches you have in your browser saved for this site (and then try logging out and logging back in again).

If neither of those methods help, let us know.

Hi, was logged in, saw this reply and though, "I'll post a response to that", then noticed while I was logged in on the main page, clicking to get to see the article itself had logged me out again.

have tried logging out manually, though the first time I tried that the site had already logged me out...

weird if only happens here of all the phpBB sites I use, it also happens reasonably often on the utterly dire 'disqus' sites.

I have this problem on my Ipad after every IOS update, without fail.

I just wipe website history shortly after every update and it works normally.
