In case you guys didn't see, GW started publishing several comics last year:
https://www.warhammer-community.com/roommates/
https://www.warhammer-community.com/vhane-glorious/
https://www.warhammer-community.com/tsoalr/
https://www.warhammer-community.com/roll-models/
The problem? They are all dead, save for AoS one (who took very long break beforehand, so it might be just strips made months ago). It can't be GW artists being busy (because two of these are made by outsiders). Did anyone heard why they all suddenly took a nap? It's especially weird in the case of Vhane Glorious, seeing he was about to reach Vigilus and you'd think tie-in to currently ongoing major campaign would be rather high on GW's list of priorities...

Maybe no one was really reading them ?
Other than that, no idea really.

I also realized that. Tsoalr isn't dead, I believe? It still post regularly.
Roommates I tought it was more of a small thing, one shot and done.
I suppose Vhane Glorious is in a long hiatus until Vigilus ends?

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

I sort of get the feeling that GW isn't quite sure what to do with thier comics. Way back when they did them in Inferno they were often one shot comics or only short runs.
Might be not enough people talked about them or that they've only got one artist or budget for one (hence why Vane Glorious and Roll Models seem to swap over - when one is active the other is dead).
Might just be GW doesn't really know the comic market well enough and doesn't know what to really "do" with them as such. Also lets not forget thus far Vane Glorious is the only one with a single storyline aspect to it. Roll Models jumps in and out of a casual story and 4th wall magics.
I personally hope they continue as I tihnk they are a great visual way to get the worlds of Warhammer across to gamers without relying only on codex and Black Library publications.

Even professional comic artists have problems with work ethics from time to time, I doubt that GW had enough budget dedicted for the comics being done to hire professionals, and amatures probably had just a few strips done in advance.

Look at date, last one was early december. Though, artist posted on his page GW asked him to do multiple pages at once without posting them yet (which makes very little sense but there you go) and it's up to them when they will appear...

No idea if they've stopped or not but every one I read was pretty bad.
TSOALR was terrible though - it was trying to be funny (I think) but was nonsensical.

Roll models and Vhane Glorious are done by the same person; IIRC. I doubt she has time to do both, and in the past, when VG was active, Roll Models was not.
As for TSOALR, I don't know.

Guardsmen, hear me! Cadia may lie in ruin, but her proud people do not! For each brother and sister who gave their lives to Him as martyrs, we will reap a vengeance fiftyfold! Cadia may be no more, but will never be forgotten; our foes shall tremble in fear at the name, for their doom shall come from the barrels of Cadian guns, fired by Cadian hands! Forward, for vengeance and retribution, in His name and the names of our fallen comrades! |

Yeah, on the community site TSOALR is running again.
I am rather happy it is back.
I have a comic called "The Redeemer" that was kinda fun for the Necormunda world of things.
I THINK it was before similar comics like "Lobo"
and "Marshal Law".
It certainly is the same kind of humor.

Lobo was introduced in '83, Marshal Law '87 but Redeemer was 2002. Physical GW comics aren't doing too well - Titan Comics lost their Warhammer 40,000 License at the end of last year. Black Library started re-printing graphic novels (Titan, Daemonifuge) but apparently they didn't sell well.

I think the Warhammer comics might just suffer from being somewhat unknown to the market compared to things like the Horus Heresy series. IT might just be that GW isn't marketing them in the right way.
Also whilst one comic is up there's been no update for Roll Models today :( unless its coming later this evening
