Another Saturday of bad weather, so my son and I thought we'd try a huge game - 4000 points.
So far we have only played 3 turns - and the Orcs are in some trouble. The dice-gods are against them.
Here is the set-up, w/ Orcs on the left

I Don't have a full account - just having some fun here with epic bad luck - several games worth of bad luck in just 3 turns.
It started with animosity. 4 out of seven units failed in the first turn. I think I had 3 on turn two.
I had two units of archers (one Orc & one Goblin), at least one of them failed all three turns.

Ahah! Elf light cavalry in the open! I shall charge them with my chariots and Orc cavalry. Nope!

My rather pail looking night goblins fail animosity - again - and try to charge some isolated elves. Nope.

Puny Elf archers to flank - no worries. We will be saved by our might 4+ armor. Nope
[img]

Maybe this time we'll shoot the elves. 24 shots - that should get them (this is the wound dice). Nope.

That's what I get for fielding an army that's been on the shelf for 10+ years and still haven't finished painting it.

At the very least their attention was somewhere else!
