Hi there,

I’m running my first tournament in a few weeks. It’s just a small local event with 6-8 players.

Would Swiss pairing be a good way to determine who plays who? If so, are there any free apps that help you organize this?

Thanks for looking!

There are a few websites that host free services, however a lot of them are focused on chess which may not be detailed enough for a 3-round tournament
Best Coast Pairings costs money but is a fairly common tool these days (not sure what pairing options it has on the TO side).
Microsoft Excel or some equivalent program can be used rather easily as well.

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.
