excellent 15mm miniature range here, including skirmish packs.

This 3rd phase features amazonians and dragon men armies. You can purchase nearly 700 other existing figure packs with your pledge.

I supported the first two KS for Battle Valor Fantasy, and I am highly pleased -- including a compelling mass warfare rule book.

How do they compare with the copplestone 15mm line?

I'm not certain as I've never seen that range. Check out the Battle Valor website to see their existing models:

http://www.battlevalorgames.com/battlevalorfantasy15mm.aspx

The ones I own are a bit chunkier I'd call them more heroic 15's or pushing 18mm.

I'd peruse the link above to begin. You can also jump on their facebook page and the owner answers any posted questions.

Sadly, no interest for me then; copplestone's "barbarica" range are for me the best 15mm mins out there and its hard to convince me on other ranges now. (Khurasan, which posts here, being one of the few that does.)

Best of luck to them though.

Yes I think they will fund again. As for the Copplestone range, thanks for the recommend!

This funded and is headed towards stretch goal territory.

I'm quite curious what the dragon men will be like. The Amazons have quite a few interesting units in their lineup as well.

I picked up a bunch of the 15mm Oni that a bunch of these guys were also involved with a while back and was quite pleased with the results.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Yes they are above $10,500 now which is unlocking some nice bonus figures. Love the beast men too.
Those Samurai are nice, I do not own any but the webstore offerings are drool-worthy indeed.

I agree the Dragon Men are very appealing; they are what a portion of my funding is going toward. They will be my main faction if they look as good
as the rest of the various forces do.
I am finishing up some Orcian ogre Line-Breaker models today, and they will ally with Vampyrians for a demo army against a smattering of human enemies.
The war machines, giants, even terrain is such a pleasure to paint and field because it does not take huge boxes of battlefoam to store and transport.

Back to work. For lots of pics, rules queries, etc. join us on the FB page which is Battle Valor Games if so inclined.

This Siege Tower stretch goal is incredible.

That is a nice siege tower. Price seems reasonable for the size.

I thought this was a cool little freebie:

I think it includes all the heroes and animals!

Another goal was reached the other day-

Backers get a free unit of 5 linebreaker models which all tend to be larger figures.

This is in addition to the previously unlocked stuff. There's also an opportunity for even more stuff very soon-

At the 13.5k mark everyone gets a free monstrous unit (which is a pretty sweet deal as they're all about 15 dollars or so)

If they managed to raise roughly 1,000 by the end of the day today backers will get an extra bonus 3 figures on top of that.

If you're remotely interested in 15mm stuff I say check it out. At the 30 dollar pledge you're eligible for stretch goals, and if they hit this today you're getting a good pile of extra swag included for a pretty reasonable price.
Their character packs are a pretty sweet deal with the variety of sculpts included and the KS prices, you basically have a complete Frostgrave warband. You could basically pick and choose half packs and skirmish packs of various units to fill out a nice little bestiary!

I'm so pleased this is doing well. We unlocked more free cool minis last night and it is reassuring to know many of these are already available. He kept in good touch with us with the first 2 kick starters and delivers his pledges. Now with free line breakers and a monstrous creature at a low entry level pledge, this is the most impressive 15mm KS i've encountered yet.

That concept art is the best thing I've seen since 7th grade.

Wow, the unreleased Master of the Universe action figures look so cool!

Battle Beasts the miniatures game?

"...and special thanks to Judgedoug!" - Alessio Cavatore "Now you've gone too far Doug! ... Too far... The concept art really does appeal to my inner child.

Today has another super bonus challenge- if the total hits 17.5k (about 2k from where it is currently as I write this) Battle Valor has offered up either one of these models to backers of 30 or more for free-

So if enough people hop on we all get a spiky dino with a howdah or a barbarian dude riding on a mammoth.

If the total somehow hits 20k we get both for free. That's kinda crazy. Almost a bit too much, but that's kinda the point I guess.

Seriously at 30 bucks you get quite a spread of swag at this point, to the point that you could have 2 complete warbands and a few wandering monsters to deal with. I wish the samurai campaign had unlocked as many bonuses!

Its up to $20K right now and only 16 hours or so to go!

There's still at least 1 of the $30 buy-ins to go and loads of the other tiers without any limits.

And at present for freebies you get the following with any pledge above $1 (the 1$ also does not get access to the pledge manager, its purely a "show support/ask questions" tier):

1 Decian Necromancer (KS unique)
1 Command Pack
1 General
1 Meeting at the Gnarled Oak (baggage/adventurers set)
5 Linebreakers
1 Monstrous Creature
3 Shock Troops
1 War Machine

This went through the roof! and my buddy and I went in with plenty to get the Siege Tower, which unlocked at the last minute.
Really stoked to get some old-school style rank & File on the board (the rules are quite good).
