Hi there,

I really like what you're trying to do here; I don't really see enough Baneblade chassis' on the table and so this really appeals to me.

I was having a flick through the point values to try to see if there was any way of squeezing another Super-Heavy in and I think I may have hit upon a couple of points mistakes - I would recommend looking at the pricings of your Heavy Weapon Squads again, in particular the 2x ML/1x LC squad which I made to be about 20pts more expensive.

I was wondering if the army might hold truer to what you are aiming for if you didn't fill out a Brigade - in the current meta, Imperial players try to fill out the Brigade in order to have enough CP to fuel the Castellan. I was wondering if your gameplan was particularly CP intensive?

I hope this came across as helpful

Looks fun, I never hear much about the IG super heavy tanks

The sentinels can't have multilasers and plasma cannons together though?

Sure, but were you looking at Chapter Approved for points?

Yup.

Moving on from that, I was wondering what the benefits were to you in fielding a Brigade detachment? It sounds silly, but I found with my Steel Legion that I really didn't need more than about 9CP at the start of the game, given that IG are quite effective at regenerating them.

I'm not sure myself. I'd probably only use the armageddon strategem and a few of the standard ones, so I might be over thinking that.

Looking at the codex, I can see you are right. I was looking at the scout sentinel gear.

I just like to point out that Chapter Approved or a FAQ changed the Command Point Benefits of the Brigade from 9 to 12 points.

Your total command points would be 17 due to the following:

Supreme Command Detachment: +1 CP
Supreme Command Detachment: +1 CP
Brigade Detachment: +12 CP
Battle Forged: +3 CP

Total: 17 Command Points
