Well here’s our second Batrep for Kings of war made public….so it was 2000 points Orcs Vs Kingdom of men, Britt commanded the Orcs and I was in command of the Kingdom of men.

Greg and I had another close and hard-fought game of Kings of War today. Lots of fun and laughs as well. While we both used 2000 points of the Kingdoms of Men army list, Greg had more Knights and magic artefacts, while I had one more monster and a horde of archers. We played the “Pillage” scenario, six counters placed over the board, you getting a point for each one you control. Greg moved first.
The game went a full seven turns, one more than usual. We were both in bad shape by that turn, and each of us had two objective tokens. Looked like a draw, but Greg reread the victory conditions, and we had both failed to realise that monsters could also control objective tokens. I had one Giant near the token in the river, thereby gaining it and a very questionable victory.
Oh well, live and learn…

Well here’s another Batrep for Kings of war…so it was 2000 points Kingdom of men Vs Varangur…This time it was game with Trent and Sam, my youngest boys, so Sam was learning the ropes and this was Trent’s 5 game I think…...So, some family time with them.

We had a Kings of War game, on Saturday night on a 6’ x 8’ table, 4000 points per side. I and Alan commanded the Kingdoms of Men army while Trent and Britt played the Undead. The scenario was “Control”, where victory is determined by the number of 2’x2’ areas your side control, with 12 up for grabs.
