Hmmm, since you have Skarbrand for the super death ball, I recommend the Wrath of Khorne Bloodthirster. His command ability will help out Skarbrand quite a bit and he has some other good utility with unbinding a spell and shooting some stuff.
That said, an Rage Thirster with the giant axe is always a blast but you have Skarbrand already.

Just those two? Definitely a WoK Thirster. The anti-magic and command traits are really good. Although I dislike the look of that version’s face, personally.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Is not like you have to pick one face to represent one version, only the weapons are relevant. But to be honest most people I know don't even know what weapons go with what variety of Bloodthirster.

Dont get to play much, dont know about deathball ?
So it looks like a Wrath of Khorne for the 1st Blood Thirster build.
