Hey folks, I've got a primaris captain inbound that I want to convert to the Salamander captain Pellas Mir'San. Any tips?

If you're trying to go wysiwyg make sure you give him both Cinder Edge & Steelsliver. A normal marine combiflamer works perfectly fine on primaris.

For the skin I would just do black base coat, drybrush a medium-dark gray, then very lightly drybrush with a lighter tan.

Right. I remember that his skin has greyed with age. I'm trying to figure out a good sword to use as his 2nd sword.

you could use the sternguard power sword in the sheath for Steelsliver. Then you could use a regular power sword for Cinders Edge.
