Astropath puppy guards the Leman Russes with Barrier for that 2+ save. Leman Russes hold back and shoot for the grinding advance rule. Chimeras stick together and control objectives. Cyclops uses the Tallarn Outflank for some deep-strike Kamikaze shenanigans. I want to be sort of competitive but I really just want to have fun. Any thoughts?

Good idea! I like the tank theme. Let us know how the game turns out, I've very interested to see how this list fares.

You get milage it of the heavy flamers on the Chimeras? Heavy bolters may be better.

Also, psykers work best in groups. One astropath will get taken out fast, and probably denied every round. Two may actually do something. Three probably will.

I like the cheap infantry squads.
