Hey there, I came across this site while I was wandering around hopelessly working out how to put a 40k army together!

I'm new to wargaming, though have some previous experience with model building...that's really what got me into 40k.

I'm up in Manchester, and I think there are a few options that I've seen around even just with a cursory search. It's just a matter of finding groups that meet when it's convenient.


Currently I'm in the process of building a 2000 point Astra Militarum army, because I have a soft spot for tanks and big guns, and there's just something I love about vehicles like the Leman Russ.

Sounds good! Part of me does fancy the AM - but I'm such a slow painter it would just never happen...

Maybe a kill team, if they update the Catachans at some point...
