So with this list I was trying to create something that you don't necessarily see all the time on the table top.. With the stormsurge and Sniper drones. I have some nice synergy with the Drones being able to hit on 3s with the marksmen and drone controller on the commander. With 5 markerlights on a target they will be hitting on 2s rerolling 1s and dishing out mortal wounds on 5s if I have the T'au strat on the target. Or I can easily pick off key characters with 18 Sniper Drones. Having 4 big threats in the list is also good meaning hopefully my stromsurge will last more than 2 turns.

This is a very static gun line but I also think that it will catch people off guard with all the Sniper Drones.

In my mind, a lord of war is always the first target, hide it well. (keep in mind that as of the last FAQ, it can't benefit from prepared defenses, so find a building to stick it behind)

You've got 8 drones protecting the riptide, so the next target logically are the sniper drones (they'll be a pain with the -1 to hit on them).

You might be interested in Day'lth Sept for the Stormsurge (if you don't move you get the cover bonus, and the sept strategem makes him very mobile)

Right I completely forgot about the no multiple commanders in one detachment.. I'll move Darkstrider or the other cadre fireblade in the supreme detachment.. Thanks!

I like your list try this one. Can drop some pathfinders for more sniper drones if you like.

oh I just missed a big one, advanced targeting system on the stormsurge. You can take that over counterfire defense. I wouldn't expect a LOW to live long enough to get charged anyhow, plus you are playing T'au Sept already, no one will charge you willingly.
