Ok not really played yet as just got into battle companies and trying to get some of the local players to try it. I saw the new AoS mangrove style trees they are releasing soon and had a thought for a board but I want ask some more experienced players if it will be viable/fun.

I want to do a swamp/shallow water board using the new trees the lake town walk ways and with semi sunken osgilith ruins to add vertical/los blocking features and a few gallons of water effects. Would this be a fun board to play on if I ensured pathways between board walks with the ruins and used the trees to block line of sight to stop ranged weapons dominating?

I specifically want to try and avoid using the river town houses because while I think there really good and would still use them on another project I want this board.to have an abandoned or little used feel like a hidden smugglers jetty and walk way.

Your last point is especially laughable and comical, because not only the 7th ed Valkyrie shown dumber things (like being able to throw the troopers without parachutes out of its hatches, no harm done) - Irbis
