So, I was gifted a virtual voucher for 32 pounds by my friend in the UK, problem is I live in the US. After I redeemed it I ran into the problem of not being able to buy anything to deliver it in the US. Is there any way to do that? Or is there any way to transfer the money from pounds to dollars on the site? Or am I just ?

Either get help from GW or sell it to person in UK. Pretty much only options. Though selling it is bit hard if you already redeemed it.

Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

GW customers service tend to be pretty good. I can't see why they wouldn't be able to swap it for a new voucher.

Just make sure they exchange it at their inflated GBP to USD rate of about $1.50-1.60/GBP. Don’t let them exchange it at the actual exchange rate. :-D

Well they said they'll exchange it over, I dunno at what rate though. Just glad it's getting exchanged over honestly.

Issue was wholly resolved. GW customer service was very quick about it too, made me a bit more confident in them as a company.

Throughout all the years GW's customer service has pretty much always been first rate.

Glad they were able to resolve your problem

Yeah that's been good. Only issue I could see here would be purely technical issues(for example on my case before seems their system was literally unable to have option for me to pay for replacement part of FW model...so they actually sent it for free though didn't even need to)
