there is a HG Geara Zulu,I have a plan to kitbashing it become a homebrew knight(may use rules of some type of cerastus knights).

in fact,in my own idea, this big boy is a Dreadknight——no,not that ugly powerloader deploy by Grey knights, but a Astartes-Equivalent of Wraithknight.a giant knight-size(and power) of dreadnought, pilot by a dying Astartes Veteran.

ANY IDEA?

A larger head and mounted in the torso ala the old Chaos Warriors. If you look at Imperial Knight and Titans they all have that hunchback anatomy that distinguishes them from more humanoid mecha.

I had this idea to run a Zaku II as an armiger warglaive in my local GW store. I'm not sure on the policy about third party models etc at your FLGS, but at mine its a 50/50 third party geedubs. I ended up buying a real grade Zaku and putting the armour plating over a dreadnought frame. It's not identical to a Zaku but its still recognizable.

2000pts IG. ( based on fallout US Army)

3000pts XIIth Legiones Astartes 8th Assault Company. (Pre heresy)

never in the field of human conflict, has so much been fired at so many, by so few.

My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, Commander of the armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions. Loyal servant to the true emperor Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next.

I think this would fit in really well to 40k.

Remove the head is the easy answer, replace it with a vision slit.

Or mount the head coming out of the chest at a 90 degree angle like a knight.

If you want to create something which looks like a knight-sized version of the primaris-marine-with-eisenkern-head in the picture, then the Geara Zulu is a good choice. The Geara Doga and Zaku II FZ also have different stahlhelm-style heads that you might want to look at.
Some suggestions:
  • Remove the shoulder spikes. In 40k, spikes=Chaos.
  • Change the weapons. Beam weapons (or something equivalent) don't exist in 40K, whilst gunpla guns are more "realistically" scaled compared to their 40k equivalents.
  • You could make it more grimdark/dieselpunk, something like this: https://i.pinimg.com/736x/a4/b1/85/a4b185e574079bd57a35a61cd00aaa68.jpg, although the primaris models are not particularly grimdark themselves.

  • Sierra 1247's zaku-dreadknight mashup looks like a good way to go if you want your model to not obviously be a gunpla playing counts-as.[/list]

Compared to what you've built, a GW dreadnought (the boxy, non-primaris version) has a wider torso, larger shoulders, shorter arms and no head. If you want a dreadnought-sized model that matches your marines it might be easier to use either of the GW Venereable Dreadnought or Contemptor Dreadnought kits and replace the head with one of the eisenkern heads.
