So I was browsing through Etsy for the first time after a maze of google searches for terrain and tank parts when I came across a very familiar looking tank. Must be based off the 30k Sicaran because it just struck me I can throw a gun in back and that's a plagueburst crawler. For $20.
They're ordered. I'll include good pics when they arrive

EDIT Thanks to James at Contact Front Games, he's the source for the tank and I realized I didn't give credit.

No tanks yet but I got in the guns I ordered for them. They aren't fat mortars like the PBC carrys but I like the gothic look of them. I was a little disappointed they are one piece, totally unposeable, but hey it was $12 for two of them.[

Got the tanks now. Can anyone give me the dimensions of an actual PBC? These are about 7 1/2 inches x 3 x 4.
Body is one part, two track sections, three turrets and three guns. Oddly there is another spot on the body to accommodate a turret or hatch. I'll just be pasting over it with my Nurglish details[img]

Mocked up with a Kromlech dozer blade. The guns I got look awesome, but they're just too big for that tank. Unless I find a way to trim down the base and keep the gun barrels it may be replaced with a piece of plumbing pipe

I think the dozer blade looks great on that tank.

The guns might work if you trim down that edge they are sitting on. It is a nurgle tank after all, cover up any imperfections with green stuff tentacles and goop!

Where did you get the guns, btw?

I found the guns on Etsy from Panhandle 3d printing. They're also part of a larger armored train set.
I'm going to cut down the back of that deck and build more of a structure to mimic the humped appearance of a pbc. Then I'll play with cutting these gun's bases down to make them shorter or just use some 3/4 inch PVC to make mortar barrels.

I also found this beautiful model, for a bit less than a GW pbc. I may inquire if I buy one to round out the battery if I can buy extra guns to finish the plague spewers and the volley guns for the other tanks[img]

Now I'm getting somewhere. Main guns are mounted and the supports for the new roof are in place. Have to let that dry up solid before I start trimming and adding the roof. Then on to the sculpting.
Green stuff would work, but it would be a lot of it. I'm going to go with automotive Bondo to be cheap.

Roofs are on, that's drying and I started work pinning on the dozer blades.
Happily the 3d printed plastic works with my plastic model cement and I haven't had to use any superglue until now.

I'm pretty happy with the Bondo. It goes on like peanut butter. Not the tool for detail, but great for large gaps and uneven surfaces. I layed it heavy on the top and tried to get a ridged surface, but it didn't cooperate that well before it tacked up.
Going to let that cure, then I'll grind in the ridges with the dremel and finish them with green stuff. You can also see I ground off the side gun mounts. They sat too far forward for my liking with the new roof line. I'll fabricate new ones further back.

Thanks, I've got 3/4 inch PVC pipe I've used before for demolisher barrels, would have been easy to make another stubby mortar. I really liked the look of these when I saw them though.
If I hadn't worked it out to fit them on the tanks I was going to use those for some kind of firebase terrain piece.

How about a bucket brigade of nurglings dropping flies and filth down the barrel? A thought I had, but tbh probably too ambitious.

I build daemonengines basilisks from scratch but nurglings dropping something down a barrell is something that if it is supposed to look good is damn near impossible for me.

Time to challenge yourself?!

Bondo sanded down. Ready for the green stuff

Ok, so you might have thought I gave up. Truth is the green stuff thing I tried to do to mimic the wavy texture on top didn't work out. I thought it looked like crap, and I spent my hobby time on some other projects for awhile.
Well here is the next step. Guns at least halfway done. Dozer blades and spikes.
Next is to finish the look of my plague spitters and do another thin coat of Bondo to even out my body
