I had an argument with someone at my local shop about how many depravity points can be generated. the rule states that you receive 1 point for each enrapturess on the battle field. so If I have 2 models, one would generate 2 and the other would generate 2 equaling 4 and not 2 as they each have this rule. Can someone please clarify. Thanks.

You are mistaken. Its 1 per Enrapturess.

It was exactly how you described. Which become an exponential depravity generating machine that would become ridiculous. As in if you had 6 of them, that would be 36 points, which you could then use to summon more and get more points........

They FAQ'd it to be 1 per enrapturess.

The issue was that they clearly wrote the rule as an "army wide" rule but then worded and put it in a warscroll which made it sound like it triggered per enraptures.

Thankfully the FAQ has fixed it otherwise, yes, it was an exponential growth of depravity points that was just totally broken.

Man, I always read it as each one only generates a single point. Playing it exponentially would be bonkers; put 6 in your list and get a feee KoS before you do anything else. Yuck!! I like a hard list, but damn, that’s OTT!!

That's how I always read it as well, and was pretty surprised to see it needed to be FAQ'd for some folks..

Like many exploits I think a good chunk, if not the majority, of them very much knew how it was supposed to be and simply rule-lawyered it because they decided to care more about winning than decent sportsmanship. Disappointing, but inevitable.

its because of waac players
