So the long-OOP Gorgon is the only real viable transport for the Militia list, but it’s about as scarce as hens teeth to find a used one anywhere. I’m wondering if anyone has suitable ideas for a proxy or counts as model of some kind?

That seems like a pretty good option.

Do you play 30k? It'd be a lot cooler if you did.

I have seen those but I was under the impression that was more chimera sized?

I was thinking of the Mortian myself, but the rough dimensions are:
length: 16cm / 6,3″
width: 8cm / 3,1″
height: 6,5cm / 2,5″

A chimera has
length: 11.5cm/4.5"
width: 9cm/3.5"
height: 6cm/2.4"

So the Mortian Assault Vehicle ist not as wide, nearly the same hight, but good two inch longer. Thats way smaller than a Gorgon, which afaik has roughly the same dimensions as a Baneblade. But the Mortian could make a good Crassus, which you also can use thanks to the Panoply of War rule (RB, p. 131).

It wouldn't be good for either. The Crassus is also a Macharius variant, it's the same size as a Gorgon (~11cm wide, ~20cm long).

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.
