I have converted up 1 unit of Death Cult Assassins from Witch aelves: https://www.games-workshop.com/en-AU/Daughters-Of-Khaine-Witch-Aelves-2018 (with Inquisition tattoos and blades painted like power weapons etc).

If in a tourney would anyone really care if I use them as DCA? Everything in this army is WYSIWYG, the only proxy is these girls as DCA and they are WYSIWYG (I asked and is fine in current tourney, was just wondering for future tourneys).

The only person who can answer that is the TO. I suspect 99% of people will have no problem at all as the models you've used are pretty close to the DCA aesthetic and are unlikely to be mistaken for anything else. There is no general rule for whether conversions are acceptable or not so you have to deal with it on a tournament-by-tournament basis.

Slipspace gave the answer - you will never know unless you ask the TO so any TO could say no but considering the situation I suspect most would be fine with it.

Just be sure to always ask and confirm and have some decent photos to show them so that you can get the details before the event so that, if they are refused, you've time to change your army list.

Pretty much every TO goes by the rule of cool. If they like it then no problem.

I use them as company commanders in my IG army.
