After the scenario post comes the AAR.

A couple of weeks ago I put up the "how to play" post and this week I've followed up with the "how it went" post.

It's a real shame that the Spanish Civil War isn't more widely covered and gamed in the UK, it really is a fascinating period of history to look into.

I've told the story through the medium of pictures for the hard of hearing.

I'm on the look out for scenario ideas too if anyone has any.

The angry bull was a nice touch.

It is a really interesting period, and one i wish i knew a bit more about. I have to work on that i suppose, the main thing i think i've read on it is orwell's homage to catalonia

realism is a lie

It's one that came to my attention late in my gaming career life but is definitely one of my favourites now. So many different factions fighting for so many different reasons, crammed into two opposing sides, definitely worth looking into.

Where did you get these miniatures and the ruleset? That's a nice battlereport!

"The Dakka Dive Bar is the only place you'll hear what's really going on in the underhive. Sure you might not find a good amasec but they grill a mean groxburger. Just watch for ratlings being thrown through windows and you'll be alright." Ciaphas Cain, probably.
