Subject: With the new Codex, do some Chapters have no rules?

Is there an official answer on what to do if you play an army like Salamanders? Will Vulkan H. not have any in print rules as of this weekend? It seems like until these supplement release, certain players are just out of luck.

Not yet, but we're expecting an FAQ on that. While some people have the book already, it's not officially released until tomorrow.

First founding codex chapters will get a PDF for their unique datasheets (IE: characters) so they're compatible with the new prime codex as a bridge to their individual supplement release. I dont have the direct quote at my fingertips, but its off the 40k FB page.

I'd feel happier about that if they'd said something about the existing chapter-specific strats in there.

The character file is up, and no strats (etc) are present.
We'll see what's in the 'dex tomorrow (unless there've been leaks - I haven't been paying close attention).
