Looks like gw has finally dropped the axe on power Lance's. Not much of a surprise considering they only have 1 offical model with a spear at all and its fw. I am running minotaurs and I have a large number of power spears and Lance's. I was thinking of running them as relic blades now since they killed the actual entry any thoughts?

Just run them as power swords? That's what basically they were before writers decided to experiment with variant rules before getting bored and forgetting they ever made them in the first place. Incidentally, the sword's best AP stat fits lances more than swords, swords are bad at penetrating armour and it was basically lance job...

What is the source for it no longer being a valid option?
