So the choice seems to be between a oblit bomb or venomcrawlers escorting the lord discordant and have a 10man RCC csm squad for possible recycling. Which would be your pick?

I think both lists are cool. I'd personally prefer the first. More threat saturation and you have AT covered already with the knights.. You want more targets to take heat off them early. That said why not maulerfiends instead?
Also I like the 10 strong chain reaper unit. The sorcerer actually feels less useful here. Squeezing a second disco would push this list more ottimo.

personally I think the second list is better, but that's probably because it's closer to my list. I agree with more lord discordants if you run the first list, I take 3.
