What would you change to make this list more competitive? I tend to castle the long range havocs with the chain lord, move the chain havocs/oblits with the hammer lord. Advance and charge the disco lords.

First thing, don’t give relic too your warlord as he will die first of all but now they have to choose with to kill.

Marines are not that competitive and havocs die easily but if you get first turn and kill some screens and charge some stuff you can and will cripple your opponent. Then turn 2 your obliterators drop in and to my experience they will kill stuff.

So depending on deployment and how well the opponent can make a comeback it’s a win/lose and probably shows in the early turns.

good idea on the warlord, the marines are mostly there as a CP battery, also extra chaincannons for horde lists.

marines to Cultists to screen the army would be a big upgrade.

Who goes in the Rhino?

2 squads of Marines, had a game at 1k which is just my red corsairs, my Marines couldn't get into range fast enough.

Your list is similar to one I’m working on, but I would just make those marines barebones and keep the auto cannons on the Lord Discordants.

This. Baleflamers *sound* good but autocannons are cheaper and your discolords should be aiming for close combat, at least the 3 auto cannons ( 2+ bs even when they move do to their +1 to hit negating the -1 move and shoot heavy weapons) offer credible light vehicle/ heavy infantry popping for a much smaller investment.

Also I'd say I agree on more cultists and less chaincannons, chain cannons are good but I find incredibly frail and there's too many toys and not enough boys in this list.
