Hello everybody

My name is Sebastien and I'm a librarian at the Bibliothèque Communale de Morlanwelz in Belgium (5min from La Louvière).
As a returning 40k and kill team player, I talked with my boss and she agreed to let me start a kind of "club" if I can get enough people.
The project would be to offer a place where players could play, meet each other and talk and share about the hobby. Maybe later to host tournament and other activities to show the hobby to kids and other people.

As of right now, I think it would be only 40k and KT as I have lots of minis I can lend but if some people want to join and play other game they are free to do (if they can find opponent of course)
This would be completely free year long and open to everybody (whatever age or province of origin)

If I can show my boss I can get enough people, the project will take off and I'll buy all the rulebooks, codex, CA, books about painting, black library books ... at the library.

So if you are interested, feel free to answer here or send me a PM

Good luck getting the club started! Don't forget to check in with local geek shops (don't just think of places that sell wargames, card or comic shops and other geeky haunts and even a regular toy shops are good places to get a note in the window or on the counter for advertising). Schools and universities are also great places to get a mention and attract other interested people.

we are already often working with the local "geek" shops so it was easy to advertise there, but the 40k scene is quite poor in the area unfortunatly. The player go to nearby cities to play (belgium is quite small so everything is nearby) in warhammer store or already established and well known clubs.

Didn't think about the schools, that's a really good idea thank you
