you didn't catch so much footfall so let me try and get some sense flowing between us rn, people need more info than you've provided?


is this somehow the start of a fledgling collection that you already own? or god forbid; is this just theory hammer?


either way, here's the problems with you list.


HQs:

Chaplain. with jump pack, and super short range melta threat? you've paid a small fortune for nothing.

Speaking of paying too much for too little; how in the hell of it did you end up with 2 hQs in this army? they have a combined cost of 171pts, and you've only spent 409? aka about ~41.8% of your list on a multi wound intercessor and a jump pack guy.


You don't have the points at 500 to build a battalion, so take 1 HQ, and keep him cheap. if you like Blood angels, Tycho is worth a spin, i beleive his death company form is a blast for how little he costs.


troops look okay. lets be real, 2 squads each with a combi weapon on sgts and either a special weapon or heavy weapon would be getting miles better usage out of them...

It's a fledgling army. Worked well on tabletop vs Tyrannids. Have added some more troops and updated list. I do appreciate the feedback though, thanks.

I'm going to be adding 5 Primaris Hellblasters and a Furioso Dreadnought soon, too. Will update army list when done.

You could get a bit more milage out of your assault squad by swapping those plasma pistols for plasma guns or melts guns - BA assault marines can take special weapons whereas regular SM assault squads can't. They're better as a mobile special weapons platform - BA have better units to assault the enemy like Death Company and Sanguinary Guard.

Thanks for the tip. Pistols worked decently in game yesterday. And I like the chainswords (3 attacks when charging due to shock assault). Might look to include DC or SG in addition
