So the new book has come out, mashed together the Savage Orruks and the Ironjawz. A load of new rules have been added but quite a few things have been lost. Admittedly I've always been more familiar with the Ironjawz side, but was hoping we could eventually grow this into a decent place to put our experience, what works and what doesn't.

The newest things worth taking note of is the Big Waaaaagh! ability, letting you stack up points for buffs or expend them for extra attacks or spell buffs.

Sadly it seems like a lot of our power has been decentralized. The Megaboss' command ability being reduced to a 1+ to hit, which we have like 3 different sources of, a bit to much IMO.

As a whole it feels like the Ironjawz alphastrike has been hard nerfed, whereas their 2nd or 3rd turn hit has been improved. Also, Goddrakk, his once game changing command ability has been destroyed, though he gives a flat 6 points for your waaagh each turn, is that worth his 500+ cost? I really can't justify it myself. Even if you can have the big waaagh second turn by taking 3 warchanters beside him.

Will organise things as people bring them up, what lists do you think will work with the new ironclans. Are you going to mix the 2 subfactions or keep things pure?
