Remember kiddies tonight is the premier of Genndy Tartakovsky's* new series Primal on Adult Swim.

*If unfamiliar with him he is the guy responsible for creating Dexter's Lab, Samurai Jack, and Star Wars: Clone Wars (cartoon not CGI show). He has also done lots of behind the scenes work on other shows and movies.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

I've been looking forward to this. Genndy's been one of my favourite animators since Samurai Jack, which I'm glad that he was able to finally end off finally with S5 semi-recently. People were already joking this is Prehistoric Jack or one of Jack's ancestors xD

Watched it. Super good. It’s Brutally violent, but without being too graphically gory. Lots of blood, but not much detail on the wounds. It’s also nicely emotional and does a great job of conveying thought without a single word being spoken. Their facial expression game is on point. It makes for a great short movie. Will be curious to see how it goes forward as a series.
