Using my 40k Thunderwolf Cavalry and Thunderwolf Lords and custom Wulfen to convert into some beefy Stormcast Eternals, so think Wulfoths instead of Dracoths But I'm unsure of all their myriad traits, mount traits, spells, and relics. I got Vanguard Hunters going, because I rather like the looks of them and their shifty tactics (plus some Warcry double duty), and apparently they can be battleline with a Lord Aquilor, so here's what I am coming up with....

Lord Aquilor (general)
Lord-Celestant on Dracoth (converted Thunderwolf Lord)
Lord-Arcanum on Dracoline (converted Thunderwolf Lord, for a wizard)…...or should I just make two Lord-Celestants and to the winds with wizardry?

3x5 Vanguard Hunters (battleline, with cat heads)
3 Pallidors with javelins (also with cat heads, riding chickens)
5 Decimators (converted Wulfen)
4 Concussors (converted Thunderwolf cavalry)

Vanguard Angelos Conclave (battalion)

leaves me with 50 points. 6 drops.

Any thoughts on the relics and spell and traits I should put on these guys? I know it's low model count, but pretty decent on wounds.

Can't give much advice on the relics and general trait right now, since I haven't played against Stormcast using an Aquilor as a general. Probably something to buff Vanguard Hunters in some way.

I can however recommend that you take the Lord-Arcanum. He may not be the best wizard in the game, but he's going to offer you at least SOME protection against magical malarkey thrown at your forces. One or two Unbind attempts per enemy hero phase will force the enemy to at least think during their Hero phase, rather than move their wizards willy-nilly and just pour magic spam all over your army. I know personally that I love playing against people who take zero wizards/unbind forces and I just have free reign of my magic

Thanks! I will keep the Lord-Arcanum then. It'll be good bits bashing his stave weapon too.

I think the only army I have that doesn't have wizardry is of course my Khorne armies, and they have plenty of potent anti-wizardry thingies.
