Hi all,

im playing with the idea of making a list that includes Abaddon and Mortarion. Since im pretty new to the game I would love to have the feedback of more experienced players.
Im playing against a dark eldar army of 2k this friday. This is what I created so far:

Hey man, looks like a fun list with a bit of bite. A small tweek would be to have a jump pack/terminator chaos lord in the devestation battery with the devistaion battery relic and wl trait. If those oblits ignore cover and reroll wound rolls of vs vehicles with Endless Cacophony and VotLW then they will destroy pretty much anything. Plus they should come in cia deepstrike so there's no point in the detachment if you don't take the relic and wl trait.

You could make this happen by having a BL battalion with cultists, Abbadon, sorcerer and chaos lord and a heratic astartes spearhead with all the heavy support and the deathguard daemon prince and deathshroud. You'd have to trim 15 points or so but other than that you'd still get access to all the stratergems and loose very little in the tradeoff.

Maybe take the jump pack off the sorcerer and put it on the chaos lord? If you make Abbadon your warlord you'll get 2cp and it'll only cost one for an extra wl trait and the relic would be free.

Finally psychic powers. You're much better off with prescience and deathhex/warptime (depending whether they have a lot of invuls or not) than diabolic strength.

@small_gods Thnx for the handy reply. Went for the devestation battery idea with a chaos lord in terminator armor with the relic. Since the Obliterators aren't to fast the chaoslord can keep up with them
