Just the Bare Metal

Just finished my first diorama based in 40k. Took a long time but was a lot of fun. I'll put a couple of the pictures here, please let me know what you think!
Also, I've made a post on my new blog about it with the story of it's construction (shameless plug I know  ) so if it's ok i'll put a link here, please let me know if otherwise admins!

Looks really cool to me. I always like guard against tyranid scenarios.
I dont get the storytelling though -is the guard chaos renegades, or are the chaos symbols from a previous battle?

The chaos stuff was just meant to be graffiti, like how you might see police stationed by a wall that says "cops are pigs" or something on it.
Now that you mention it it I can see how it looks like I'm trying to send some sort of message across
but to be perfectly honest some chaos graffiti was just the first thing to come to mind haha!

Pics are just fine for the subject matter.
I also think the graffiti is totally fine. Its completely conceivable that the Guard could be putting down a Chaos insurrection just as a Hive Fleet shows up. This is 40K!
Looks really well put together. Good job.
