I got crushed a couple times this weekend but I actually had a few pics so I thought that I would post a batrep or two.  We decided to go troop heavy this week and thus we used a special FOC:
1 HQ
0-1 Elite
2-6 Troops
0-1 Fast Attack
0 Hvy Support
It doesn't sound like fun but it actually wasn't awful.  First Game was take and hold, Gamma on a 4' x 6' table.  Not much terrain which is usually bad against Tau, but with no heavy support I thought that I just might have a chance with my Radical Daemonhunters.  I am using jpgs made with powerpoint for the report, hopefully the files aren't too big.  On to the report.

Actually I think it hurts others worse, how many Tau armies have you seen with no Hvy Support. The problem for Rad DH is troops, I love the idea of stormtroopers and the models are pretty cool but they suck. They get wiped out so fast unless I hide them and then they dont get range to anything. What a waste. Next time I will just take a straight up SM army with Radical DH allies. Actually next time I will be in a normal FOC I think.

Oh yeah the other thing with the Radical DH, they have crap for Heavy support anyway.
