Hi Folks...

I placed a large-ish order with bitsandkits and it hasn't arrived been a month since the order... sent multiple emails and had no response... i'm quite suprised by this as i have had quite good service from them before...

Does anyone happen to have a contact phone number for them? There isn't one listed on the site.

Best.

Don't have a phone number for them, but they've always replied when I've emailed kitsandbits@gmail.com

Open a PayPal case and see if that gets their attention.

UPDATE: I have now sent several emails and opened a paypal case... absolutly no contact whatsoever and yet i get all their 'restock' emails so they are there, actively avoiding me by the looks of it... i also have their number via paypal. If i hear nothing by tomorrow i will call. If no response or contact by the weekend i will 'escalate to paypal'...

If anyone happens to know them personally, kindly remind them to practice a little customer service.

Thanks.

FTL

This sounds similar to my experience sadly. They’re fine 90% of the time but if there’s a missing bit or some other problem they don’t respond to messages.

Did you ever get any kind of resolution?

I am in the exact same case.

I also placed a large-ish order, this one on the 29th of December, asking in the order comment section for them to provide me with a tracking number once the package would be sent.

Then on January 9, I received an email saying my order was despatched. No mention of a tracking number, so I emailed back asking for it.

Since then, I sent a few more emails and also tried via the contact button on the website.

So far, no answer at all …

It is extremely frustrating.

I haven't lost hope yet.

I also found the same review and it is quite worrisome, to put it mildly.

Any results escalating to paypal? I always prefer a direct resolution but if not possible then I'll escalate as well.

My preference of course goes to the package being delivered as it contains many bits which could allow me to finish several projects / conversions.

Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

Sometimes they don't communicate. It's weird.

I've had packages take a while to arrive, E-mailed them, and they've replied with a few days. Othertimes all I get is silence.

I've used Bits and Kits as one of my two major bit-suppliers for nearly eight years and I've never had any issue, even shipping to the Colonies.

Kinda surprised to hear they have a bit of a bad rep.

Its the same for me - about 1 in 10 orders wont arrive, then it's 50/50 if they'll reply to an email (but if they don't PayPal has always refunded me).
