More noob questions.

Considering doing a two color scheme for my to be invented space marines chapter. This is making me look closely at the space marines armor especially around the waist, but here are a few questions:
- is the belt part of the armor or is it a separate piece that is added after the armor is put on?
- there are a couple of plates hanging down over the butt - are those part of the backplate or something separate?
- is the codpiece part of the breastplate or something different?

And, there is a plastic seam between the front and the back of the model visible where you drop the head in. Is that a seam in the armor or something that should be made to disappear?

Thanks

All the armour panels are generally seperate pieces that are bolted together before deployment, but I'm not sure why it's relevant for your painting queries.. You can paint the parts whatever colour you like?

The mid seam between front and back should technically not be there, but you can generally file it away on the outer sections and once the head or helmet is in it will be barely noticeable on the inside.

The Belt is put on after the armour is fitted, just a regular utility belt for pouches and grenades and other wargear
