So I knew some of the scenery kits were manufactured over there but didn't know other stuff was. I got 2 underworlds warbands recently Eyes of the Nine (made in UK) and Mollogs Mob (says on box: made in China, designed in UK). Anyone got any info how widespread it is with other kits? Particular reasons GW have gone for this? I'm not against it per se but just found it interesting really. Do they make the mould's here and ship over or just send them tooling design to make their own moulds?

From what I hear it's a combination of their new UK factory not running at 100% yet, and when things like cards are printed in China it's easier to do the whole lot there. Don't know about the moulds.

A lot of terrain has been done in China for a while, some by our old friends Wargames Factory whose Chinese partner bought/kicked out their American partners and now only does manufacturing for other companies.

I saw that on the Beastgrave sprues, IIRC.
Long-term, smallish releases look to be the offshore jobs coming from China.

Does anyone have any more push-fit sprues to look at?

Gathering the Informations.

From what they've said in the past, it's a declaration thing they have to do if any part of the product has been produced in China.

My understanding is that the cards are coming from a printer in China, models produced in the UK.
