Hi all,

It looks like most people are using Vallejo and citadel paints. I recently bought some Windsor and newton acrylic paints and some do craft acrylic paints.

I’ve used them a bit and my experience is that both companies make a nice range of colours, WN are quite vibrant. Docraft do some great metallic colours and their pearl medium makes interesting effects when mixed with other colours. Also they are more consistent in thickness and performance that citadel. However they don’t do any that perform like base paints such as led bleacher. best of all for the same price or less than citadel you get loads more.

Has anyone else tried these paints, any tips for use? Any one able to compare them to Vallejo which I haven’t tried yet.
