So I have a couple of areas I'd like to put a satin finish on. Because it's a small defined area I really need to brush it on rather than airbrush it. Any recommendations for a reliable one?

Vallajeo has satin varnish.

Windsor and newton. They're designed for canvas paintings, but I use the matte as a brush on. It's great.

I've used the Vallejo and GW gloss and matte varnishes on little spots like shoulders and I found they worked pretty much the same with Vallejo being a little thicker. Just use a crappy brush, not a good one, and clean it well!

Ive been using Vallejo ones for years now (brush on), havent had any problems.
