Because of brexit using UK based online stores will become unviable, so what are some good EU based online stores?

Will they? Without getting into trade/politics - far as I'm aware the UK stores will still be able to trade with Europe. Of course there might be more tariffs or red tape and it might not end up being as cheap as it was before. But if you were after specific models sold only by select stores I'm sure you'd still be able to import them.

We'll have to see how it plays out, but personally, if pound gets stronger perhaps it will stop being an advantage (even with stupid conversion rates that some companies apply). More so if shipping costs increase.
Currently, it is quite absurd to think that it is cheaper to order miniatures 2000 km away with shipping rather than walking 5 minutes to the local store. I think this will change.

I suppose most European countries have their own stores that supply, over here there is http://www.e-minis.net/index.php which has a massive catalog, some discounts and possible free shipping on large orders. It's a good alternative if things get grim.

Even though the withdrawal agreement has passed the House of Commons today, the transition period continues until the end of 2020. So trading will not change for over 12 months, and then any negotiated changes will take effect, which might mean no changes at all to the typical consumer.

So this thread is a year premature at best, totally redundant at worst.

Exchange rate fluctuations might affect things, but that's a separate issue that can always affect buying outside of your own currency.

I think it makes sense to buy from the EU rather than from a competitor nation when we can, so I would be interested in seeing what is out there. But I try and buy locally anyway.

GW's braindead/genious pound conversion rate means that UK online stores give me close to a 50 percent sale. Do any EU stores come near it?

Funnily enough Norway is not in the EU and they pay exact currency conversion for GW stuff. So maybe our prices actually go down once GW can't price fix anymore.

Gw prevents 3rd party stores selling outside eu. Gw can't prevent to sell to eu under eu laws. Doesn't take much guessing to guess gw will take advantage of brexit to ban uk stores selling to eu once the no deal crash happens at the end of 2020.

We have added a massive amount of the EU statute to our own, with the assumption it's better to have it stay and repeal it if desired than just cease to function over night one day.

Therefore, unless Parliament deems it advantageous for some reason in the future, any law governing GW pricing in the EU will likely stay in effect as a UK law going forward.

I'm not entirely sure what law that would be, because companies being free to charge what they want isn't something I thought was regulated, but if it is, it probably continues to be.

If that is the case now, that would probably only be because the Norwegian crown has plummeted in the last half year and GW has not bothered to adapt the conversion. Before that, it has been +25% prices at least.
